This is my final digipac, I changed the font for the lyrics to match the font on the front cover.

Image manipulation

I used an image where he is visible through the smoke as this is a common theme throughout our video so I wanted to include this in the digipak. I cropped the image and made it red to go with the colour theme in the artwork.

I am in the process of creating the album/single front cover. I want to keep it clean and sophisticated with two main colours. This is because of the star image we are trying to create which is a smooth but sexy artist. I like the first one because of the black and red, I will incorporate more red withing the booklet. i think I will use the second covers for the booklet to show behind the scenes.

Digi-Pak Planning

This is my first draft for my digipak. I used images of our artist on all the possible cover with a spotlight on him to show that he is the star and to help promote him. I played around with different fonts, colours and the way things were laid out. I don't really like the artworks I have created as I want to create more of a clean smart image that represents the star image correctly. In the future I want the front cover to be white with the artist in a suit filling the whole cover with his name at the side. I think I will make the cover minimal and stick to black and white as I think it suits the star image we are trying to create.

I have also experimented with fonts to create a recognisable logo for the artist. From research of artists such as Justin Timberlake and Olly Murs I observed that they use simple but bold font to make a recognizable logo, however it is the way that it is positioned or the colours used that makes it recognisable. I chose to use red and black as it gives off quite a strong image. I think these colour will work well with my future ideas.
